Tricks & Winter Games
     Saturday December 3, 2011
     My Dog's Place
     81 Pennsylvania Ave, Niantic, CT.
As the temperature drops and snow begins to the fall we may be less inclined to venture out to give our dogs enough exercise. Our furry friends, however, will soon be bouncing off the ceilings eager for something to do. Trick training and indoor games is great way to stave off cabin fever and burn energy. In this workshop we will cover basic tricks (e.g. spin, wave, rollover, jump though a hoop, etc.), indoor games (e.g. retrieval and searching games) as well how to build them into more advanced behaviors. We will also introduce outdoor games to play in the snow, e.g. teaching your dog to pull a sled. Prerequisite: Our Puppy Kindergarten or Basic Manners or instructor approval
